The BaseLodge Live Demo is finally here! BaseLodge is a management system for ski clubs and shops which I’ve been working on intermittently during winter break. Next week, it’ll have it’s first deployment, being used by the RPI Ski & Snowboard Club. I’m really excited about BaseLodge, and I think it’ll help out the RPI Ski Club, and ski clubs everywhere, alot.
BaseLodge runs on PHP and MySQL on the backend, and uses a decent amount of Ajax on the frontend. Going forward, I’ll be addressing accessibility issues, although it is highly recommended to run BaseLodge in a modern browser, such as Firefox.
On a different note, break is almost over for me, which means I’ll have a bunch of school work soon. I’ve learned a ton over this break and developed great working habits. I probably won’t be able to do this much web related stuff again until summer break, but I’ll remain active (as always) with web related stuff until until then.
One more thing: I’d like to thank jhuckaby over at Zero Clipboard for his work making Zero Clipboard, which made developing BaseLodge easier.
